Tiny house builders and tiny house movement pioneers Tumbleweed Tiny House Company has built a unique village near the Mt. Hood National Forest, less than an hour drive southeast of Portland, Oregon. Called the Tiny House Village, this community has a collection of different tiny houses for rent.
This community has five custom tiny houses that are rented to tourists and tiny house enthusiasts. All the comforts and amenities that you expect in a modern, crafted mobile house are there from fully-stocked kitchen to ample storage space. There is television and Internet-connection for those who want to be connected and entertained.
There are other outdoor amenities shared among the residents of these tiny house village: swimming pool, game room, spa, and biking and hiking trails.
Tumbleweed's classic tiny house designs include the Elm, the Cypress and the Linden with sizes ranging from 175 to 260 square feet. The three smallest called Savannah, Atticus and Zoe have room to sleep three people and would be rented at $129 per night. The two larger homes called Lincoln and Scarlett, can bunk five people for $139 per night.
