What would happen if you make a roadside billboard into a tiny home? In Slovakia, a design agency has created a proof of concept wherein tiny houses can be built using billboards. The reason behind this project is to create a temporary housing for homeless people and maximize land use in under-utilized road space.
The minimal maintenance costs of such housing could partially be paid by renting out advertising space. The project also encourages architects, designers and artists to cooperate in order to create socially-conscious living spaces.
Such billboard house would have a triangular shape and the inner side of the structure would be used to install the entrance to the house. The house is designed to have an entrance hall, a tiny kitchen, a bed, a desk, a wardrobe and a shower corner.
