Who would have thought that your floor can be a perfect place to store your personal items and hide it on plain sight? When you live in a tiny house, every corner of your real estate is gold so it is necessary to maximize your storage space even below the surface that you're walking on!
We all know that storage spaces are also dead spaces in a tiny house that we seldom use on a daily basis so it is perfect to hide it under the floor. Since you only use it when you need it, it is important to understand the importance of the location of the floor storage and the way you organize your stuff so if you want to hide your important personal items, why not have a floor storage under your bed? If you want to store your books, why not have a floor storage in your living room?
Oftentimes, we tend to forget where we put the thing we usually use quite a lot. It is important to consider how we manage our personal stuff and organize it accordingly. Why not store our favorite Xbox games under the floor including our gadget accessories so that we can access it when we need it right away?
If you have a room in the loft to build in a shallow floor storage, or anywhere else in the house you don't want to fill up with insulation, then why not use it? Install pop-up mirrors, clothing bins, book shelves, you name it.
Interesting idea to say the least! You've got to plan your room space well if you're going to create a storage space below your flooring that isn't part of your basement! It would be an excellent idea if you were already considering a platform sort of set up in the room though!
