A Filipino Tiny House that Gone Viral on Social Media

Tiny houses are nothing new in the Philippines as most people in the lower social strata are used to live on bahay kubo, tiny apartments and cramped shacks. But imagine an ingenious way of building a house that maximizes space without compromising the aesthetic look of that cookie-cutter subdivision housing unit.

Photos of a tiny house has gone viral on social media lately. Only two foot wide, the house basically maximized what the house owner has because practical usage is way more important than the size of it. As the owner only has a small parcel of lot, she had no choice but to make the most out of it when the house was built. It never deterred her from building a more practical yet comfortable dream tiny house she always wanted.

The house itself is as wide as the door itself. It is shaped like a very narrow row house that you often see in Japan. It may look so small but when you enter it, you will be surprised at how spacious it is! It even accommodated a second floor thereby providing more space for its owner. All thanks to the creative and unique building approach, the tiny house has gained popularity for those interested in a tiny house, minimalist lifestyle.

Although some social media users have mixed comments on the size of the house on whether people used to live in larger houses may find it not cozy or spacious enough for their taste. However, it is not a big issue to the home owner. We are now seeing a growing trend where more and more people consider living in stylish and innovative small-sized homes.
