Putting Exquisite Woodwork in this Tiny Trailer Home

There is one aspect in tiny house design that make this type of lifestyle special - the use of exquisite woodwork in the interior and exterior. It doesn't matter if you use cedar sidings or reclaimed wood as long as it fits well in your design and layout.

San Diego-based manufacturer Monarch Tiny Homes has created this $22,000-microhouse called the Half/Half where it extensively used recycled wood sidings to compliment its plywood floor. The 170-square-foot structure has a steeply gabled interior under which lies the sleeping loft, simple timber furnishings and fittings. There is a smooth transition from its wooden living space to the faux stone-tiled bathroom. Its barebones aesthetic also include a self-contained composting toilet.

Some people may not agree that this is the most luxurious tiny home on wheels), it has a unique allure because of the combination of the creative use of fine grain wood, reclaimed sidings and the dark external panels. They also have a slightly larger, 20-foot-long version of the house that can be purchased for $47,000 if you're feeling like an extravagant spendthrift or simply need more space.
