A Tiny Dome Home in Thailand

Expatriate photographer Steve Areen has built a lovely dome home in an organic mango farm in the far countryside of northeastern Thailand after six weeks of tireless work on a $9,000 budget. The basic structure of his dream home cost two-thirds of the total and the remaining $3,000 were spent on extra details and furnishings. The house includes a lounging space, a hammock, a personal pond, and just about everything inside the dome is made of all-natural materials.

It has a unique-shaped circular sala and a gazebo on top that looks like taken from a Flintstones' cartoon. The circular windows makes the interior a little bit like you're inside a futuristic space capsule.

Obviously, the main glass portal is large enough to let the light in and wonderful to see at night with its orange ambient lighting.
